A weekend without big games means I can go back to picking meaningless games wrong.  Yay!!!

New York Knicks (-6.5) over Memphis Grizzlies - In the "life's not fair" department, please add the case of Marc Iavaroni.  He was given a year and half to win games with a team that starts three rookies and they traded his best player for Kwame Brown (seriously!).  The new HC will have the brutal task of trying to slow the "Rooster" down at the Garden.

West over East in the Senior Bowl - It might be South over North, but with all those USC players, I'm going with their team.  What do you mean our quarterback is Ben Olsen? (Update: It is South over North and our QBs are Pat White and Cullen Harper.)

Tennessee Vols (72-66) (-2.5) over Memphis Tigers - Home team!  Both teams are lacking in the point guard department, so offensive execution will be a 40-minute struggle.  The Vols press might find some success and they could use the free points.

Washington Huskies (74-70) (Pick 'Em) over UCLA Bruins - Why not look cross-town for an upset special?  The Bruins tend to struggle in Seattle and they continued their offensive ineptitude Thursday night by blowing a double-digit second half lead before a late winning rally.  Keep your eyes fixed on the Huskies newest dimunitive firecracker (think Nate Robinson) Isiah Thomas.  (Insert your Anuche Brown-Sanders joke here)

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (82-79) (+2.5) over UConn Huskies - The Irish have climbed this mountain well in the past and they take on all-comers in their home digs.  Strategically, I don't understand how UConn's length does not eliminate Luke Harangody, but he seems to get his 25 and 10 no matter what.  This is my Irish green suit game for Mike Brey, so don't disappoint Mikey!
