After two cold weeks, my positive record teeters at 23-22.  So, let's warm it up like we're calling these games from Hawaii.

Florida State (-5.5) over Wisconsin - I never feel good picking Bobby Bowden anymore, but speed should win out here.  Florida St. is still loaded with fast athletes and Wisconsin has been hideous this year.  The Badgers seem to find a way though, which scares me, but I'm picking the Noles.

Miami (-6) over Cal - I literally just switched my choice as I'm typing this.  So many of the bowl games have been brutally close and I just can't see giving up six points when I debated the winner for that long.  I like Cal because of the location of the game in San Francisco, but that's the only difference I see.

New York Jets (-2.5) over Miami Dolphins - Miami has been living well for two months now, but this is a game where they need to blow the Jets out.  If they give the Jets life, the home crowd will be the difference maker.  It's that damn Fireman Ed!  The Phins go down and the Pats go on to the playoffs.

Dallas Cowboys (Pick 'Em) over Philadelphia Eagles - Philly could not beat a hapless Redskins team last week despite having their playoff lives on the line.  The Cowboys D will choke them out and Tony Romo will get all the credit.  It's more a pick against the Eagles than for the Cowboys.

Denver Broncos (+9) over San Diego Chargers - Look at that line!!!  Did San Diego get good all of the sudden?  Two weeks ago, they needed a miracle to beat the Chiefs and last week, they slipped by the Bucs.  All of the sudden, they are going to blow out Denver?!?  I don't think so.  Maybe the Chargers survive and advance, but the Norv Turner version of this team will not let that happen without some last second drama one way or the other.
